In 2011, Austdoor officially launched Austmatic technology. This is a roller shutter drive technology integrated with the cone clutch, which helps users easily escape in emergencies. Smart control system capable of recognizing and alarming fire together with spring-load system helps to open the shutter by hand in emergency during a power outage.

This technology is composed of 3 main components. The first component is a spring-loaded shaft system that can last up to 25,000 times of operation. Thus, the roller shutter can be smoothly and quickly operated with the opening and closing speed of up to 20 centimeters per second. Besides, in case of not using electricity or unexpected power outages, users can operate the shutter smoothly by hand after pulling the cone clutch. The second one is a compact motor, using 24vDC direct current to ensure safety for users even in the event of a power leak. The third component is the smart control system integrated reversing system that helps the shutter roll up when encountering obstacles. This does not only reduce the danger to humans but also reduce property loss.
